Clements, Hank

FosterLaw teams with Hank Clements to lobby Texas state government, including state agencies and legislators, to shape new legislation and rulemakings. Hank is a registered lobbyist with strong relationships at the Texas State Capitol. He has worked on numerous legislative issues over the last 20 years including energy, education, insurance, tax, eminent domain, and real estate development.

Hank has also been a general consultant and/or campaign manager of numerous political campaigns for candidates for the Texas Senate and House of Representatives as well as for the U.S. House of Representatives, Railroad Commission, mayors and city councils, appellate courts, Board of Education, district courts, and county commissions. He boasts a 75% win rate on political races with which he has been associated through 2012, including wins in 13 of 15 Republican Primary run-offs.

Hank is the founder and President of The Clements Group. He has served as chairman of a Texas state regulatory board for which he received unanimous confirmation from the Texas Senate. Mr. Clements has also served as President of Friends of the Dallas Police (two terms), President of the Dallas County Young Republicans (two terms), SMU Athletic Forum Board of Diretors (2001-2002), Brighter Dallas Board of Directors (2009-present) and has served on the Board of Directors of both publicly traded corporations and private corporations. He currently serves as a board member and partner of OTA Gas Compression. Mr. Clements received his B.A. in Political Science from Texas Tech University.
