Clark, Lacey Powell

Mr. Encarnacion is an associate in the Subrogation Department and practices exclusively in the field of insurance subrogation.  He received his B.A. in 1996 from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. in 1999 from Villanova University.  He was the Production Editor of the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.

Admitted to practice since 1999, he is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey but practices throughout the United States using the services of local counsel under a special program of the Subrogation Department.  He has authored articles on the allocation of shared risk in construction projects and on product tampering.

Additionally, Mr. Encarnacion holds a position on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the Executive Committee of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania and the Board of Directors of Philadelphia VIP. He is also on the Leadership Board of the Villanova University School of Law Minority Alumni Society.  Mr. Encarnacion was recently elected Treasurer of the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Executive Committee.

Mr. Encarnacion was one of 30 Pennsylvania attorneys honored by The Legal Intelligencer and a panel of judges throughout the state as "Lawyers on the Fast Track" for 2010, for his professional achievements as well as his contributions to the legal profession and the community. He was appointed as a Member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors for 2011.
