Michelle Olsen works in the Firm's Issues & Appeals Practice. She performs research related to the Supreme Court, as well as other questions of law and procedure. She also assists with the preparation of Supreme Court and other briefs. Prior to joining Jones Day, Michelle worked for five and a half years as a federal government attorney, drafting opinions and orders for an administrative law judge. Michelle is active in Firm pro bono activities, including the D.C. Landlord-Tenant Clinic. Previously, she received a statewide pro bono award for service to seniors and domestic violence victims, among other volunteer work.
