Graduate of Southern Illinois University College of Education in 1981 and from Washington University School of Law in 1986. Law Clerk to Justice Warren D. Welliver of the Missouri Supreme Court from 1986-1987.

Memberships include: Illinois State Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association (CLE Director), Bar Association for the Central and Southern Federal Districts of Illinois (board member) and East St. Louis Bar Association.
Represented defendants in Southern Illinois and Missouri in numerous cases including a wide-ranging defense practice of workers' compensation, asbestos, products liability, complex and class action litigation, employment matters, intricate personal injury matters, environmental issues, insurance coverage, construction litigation and nursing home litigation.
Although a long-time resident of Belleville, Illinois with an active involvement in the community, as a native Harrisburg, Illinois, Georgiann maintains close contact with the legal and professional communities in the southern part of the State. Georgiann also enjoys her family, reading, history and the arts.
