Mr. Ohl is a trial attorney with a primary emphasis on the defense of personal injury lawsuits. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University (B.S. magna cum laude, 1985) and his law degree from Saint Louis University (J.D. 1993). While at Saint Louis University, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Civil Procedure.
Mr. Ohl is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, State of Missouri and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Eighth Circuit. He is a member of the Madison County Bar Association (Secretary 2004-2005, Treasurer 2005-2006, Vice President 2006-2007, President 2007-2008), and Illinois State Bar Association.
Mr. Ohl has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases to verdict. His experience includes personal injury lawsuits involving negligence, premises liability, employer liability, medical malpractice, school and municipal law, product liability, and commercial law. He has lectured on the subject of school and municipal law.
