Jared Eigerman is a partner in the firm specializing in land use law, including sustainable development (green building). Mr. Eigerman represents residential, commercial and institutional real estate developers to secure all necessary government approvals at the federal, state and local levels. Before joining Dalton & Finegold, he was senior counsel at Goulston & Storrs in Boston, and spent a decade practicing land use law in San Francisco, one of the country's most complex regulatory environments, first as a Deputy City Attorney and later in private practice. Mr. Eigerman is admitted in Massachusetts and California. He is a LEED Accredited Professional for Operations and Maintenance (LEED AP O+M), and his professional memberships include the American Planning Association, the Urban Land Institute and a seat on the board of Boston Street Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the public realm. Mr. Eigerman holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of California - Hastings College of the Law, a Master of City Planning degree from the Department of City & Regional Planning at the University of California -- Berkeley, and an A.B, cum laude, from Harvard College. He is a native of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
