Sarah is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. She is a member of the Financial Institutions and Real Estate Section and practices primarily in the areas of:
Sarah is admitted to practice in
Minnesota state and federal courts. She is a member of the Minnesota State and
American Bar associations, and Minnesota Women Lawyers. She is also a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity.
In 2006, Sarah authored "Should the Eighth Circuit Continue to be the Loan Ranger? A Look at the Totality of Circumstances Test for Discharging Student Loans Under the Undue Hardship Exception in Bankruptcy" in the Hamline Law Review.
Sarah received her B.A. summa cum laude from Hamline University, majoring in political science and legal studies. She received her J.D. summa cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. During law school, she served as an articles editor of the Hamline Law Review and also as a legal research and writing instructor. She joined Briggs as a clerk in 2006 and as an associate in 2007.
