Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Edelson joined Laner, Muchin, Dombrow, Becker, Levin and Tominberg, Ltd. in 2006.
Mr. Edelson's practice involves counseling and defending employers with regard to numerous state and federal labor and employment laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Wage Payment and Collection Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act. In addition, Mr. Edelson drafts and reviews employee handbooks and personnel policies, trains management on discrimination and harrassment matters and represents employers before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board and the Illinois Public Labor Relations Board. Mr. Edelson is also a contributing editor to the Developing Labor Law treatise.
