Megan Edlund is a native of Austin, Texas, and graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University in 2007. Ms. Edlund obtained her J.D. from The College of William and Mary in 2010. During law school, she was competitively selected for membership on the Environmental Law and Policy Journal and studied abroad at China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China. She served as a legal intern at International Bridges to Justice in Beijing, China, working on issues related to Chinese criminal defense, and at International Justice Mission in Kampala, Uganda for succession-related property grabbing cases under probate, constitutional, and criminal law.
Ms. Edlund's primary areas of practice are criminal law and personal injury. She is a member of the Virginia Bar and the Prince William County Bar Association. Ms. Edlund volunteers with the youth ministry at McLean Bible Church and with the Prince William Bar County Association to give "So You're 18" lectures to local high school students. She is qualified as a court-appointed attorney for juvenile and adult criminal cases involving misdemeanors and felonies.
