Ms. Chachkin is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation and Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Practice Groups. She joined the firm in 2006 and returned in 2010 following a clerkship in the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Practice
Ms. Chachkin’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property and appellate matters. Ms. Chachkin has represented individual and corporate clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, in numerous types of disputes, including constitutional matters, government and regulatory actions, and patent infringement and licensing disputes involving a wide variety of technologies, including pharmaceutical products, medical devices, transgenic seed, photocopy and photography equipment, and computer software.

Ms. Chachkin also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Past Experience
Ms. Chachkin was a summer associate with the firm in 2005. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Frank C. Damrell, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. She also worked as a student attorney for Stanford Law School’s Youth and Education Law Clinic and as a research assistant for Professor Joseph Grundfest.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Chachkin was a paralegal with a consumer-rights-focused law firm in Chicago, Illinois.
