Causey, Jason E.

As an associate with Casper, Meadows, Schwartz & Cook since 2007, Nick Casper has been actively involved in litigating many of the firm’s largest cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, employment discrimination/harassment, civil rights violations, and child sexual abuse. Nick has also taken several of the firm’s cases to jury trial.

Nick received his undergraduate education from the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2001. He attended the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research & Writing, as well as Best Oral Argument in Moot Court. Mr. Casper also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Simons of California's First District Court of Appeal.

Nick was the Chair of the Contra Costa Barristers for two years, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Contra Costa County Bar Association.  He is also on the Board of Governors of the Alameda Contra Costa Trial Lawyers' Association.
