From September 1985 through January 1988, Ken worked as an Assistant Attorney General, where he was in charge of enforcing the New Mexico Subdivision Act and the New Mexico Time Share Act. Ken has been in private practice since February 1988, with his work focused in the areas of real estate, land use regulation and small businesses. His experience includes residential and commercial real estate transactions; ranch transactions; subdivisions and other land use approvals; the formation of limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships; the formation of condominiums; disputes involving construction projects, easements, property boundaries and other real estate related issues; quiet title actions; and general advice in the real estate and business areas.

Ken received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1976, and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1979. He is a member of both the New Mexico and California bars, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Ken maintains a daily meditation practice in the vipassana tradition.

In addition to his legal practice, Ken is a Managing Member of Transcendent Advisors Group, which provides business consulting services to cleantech companies throughout the country.
