Frederick S. Cassman is one of the founding partners of the firm and a member of the litigation department.
For over 50 years, Mr. Cassman has concentrated his practice on civil litigation and he specializes in handling complex litigation matters. He has extensive experience in federal and state court trials and regularly advises and represents clients through all stages of negotiation, litigation and appellate advocacy. Mr. Cassman has counseled clients in cases involving legal issues relating to head injuries, securities fraud, product liability, aviation injuries and contracts and tax increment financing.
Mr. Cassman received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in 1947. He received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1949.
Mr. Cassman is a member of the Omaha, Nebraska State, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. He has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the New York Stock Exchange, the National Association of Security Dealers and as a mediator for United States Arbitration and Mediation, Inc. Mr. Cassman also served as a member of the Omaha Airport Authority and the Federal Civil Justice Reform Act Committee.
