Cassity, Robert A.

Mr. Cassity practices in a wide variety of civil cases and is particularly experienced in bankruptcy and business matters.  Within his business practice, Mr. Cassity has experience in all facets of transactional intellectual property practice including conducting prior art searches, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patentability and infringement clearances and opinion work.  Mr. Cassity further assists business clients in business formation, business strategy, and litigation.  Mr. Cassity's experience is in electrical engineering, but he has performed patent work in various fields including electrical devices, mechanical devices, business methods, and chemical products.  Mr. Cassity has business and intellectual property experience with clients at Cassity'/Brazinski and had prior experience in these areas while serving as of Counsel to a boutique firm and through his previous employment working in house at a major food and beverage manufacturer with significant intellectual property holdings.

Within his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Cassity can assist business and individual clients with a variety of bankruptcy options including Chapter 7,  Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and adversary proceedings.  Mr. Cassity has assisted a wide variety of clients through difficult financial periods including mortgage foreclosure or modification, debt from credit card or medical bills, debt acquired through divorce, and business associated debt whether or not those situations require the filing of a bankruptcy.  Mr. Cassity routinely helps the firm's clients protect their assets through the bankruptcy process.
