Mr. Cassady services a wide variety of clients in the area of Employment and Labor and General Business and Personal Litigation. He has experience representing management in all aspects of employment law, including claims involving allegations of sexual harassment, race, age, gender and disability discrimination, wrongful discharge, FMLA and various common law claims. He provides day-to-day counseling for clients in the areas of employment discipline, discharge, investigation of allegations of harassment, discrimination and employee misconduct. He has substantial experience in litigating the enforceability of non-compete agreements, and in insurance coverage disputes. He practices before both state and federal courts.
Mr. Cassady is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was born and raised. He graduated from St. Xavier High School and then subsequently attended and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1970, and then he obtained his law degree from Boston University in 1974. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. His practice focuses on Business and Personal Litigation, Employment and Labor, Employment Discrimination Law, Institutional Law, and Family Law, particularly in the area of Collaborative Law.
Mr. Cassady is actively involved in the local community. He is past president of Pro Seniors, Inc. and past president of the Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cincinnati Rowing Foundation. He is a member of the Cincinnati, American and Indiana Bar Associations.
Mr. Cassady and his wife, Nancy, reside in Symmes Township where they raised their three sons.
