LAWRENCE E. CARR III earned his B.A. degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 and his J.D. degree (cum laude) from Notre Dame in 1979.
Mr. Carr participates in the firm's litigation practice, with particular emphasis on commercial (business-to-business) litigation. Mr. Carr has varied and substantial experience in an adjudicatory environment. Besides his general civil litigation practice, Mr. Carr has represented clients on a wide range of matters before federal and state administrative agencies.
After 30 years of service in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Carr retired as a Colonel in 2003.
Mr. Carr is admitted to the Virginia State Bar, District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland State Bar.
