JOSEPH D. CAPITAN is an associate at the firm and focuses his practice primarily on Social Security Disability law while also developing a Long Term Disability practice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Capitan was a contract negotiator for a research company. He was also a teacher of language arts and civics at a middle school in Florida. Previous to that he worked for a disability insurance law firm in Florida for two years.
In 2006, Mr. Capitan earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a research assistant. He also clerked for the Kent County Attorney General's Office. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in English from Bucknell University in 2003.
