Capella, Thomas J.

Richard S. Canciello is a shareholder in the firm.  A 1994 graduate of Temple University School of Law, Rich graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1990 from the University of Pittsburgh. 

He has a diverse and substantial civil litigation practice in defending persons, nonprofits, and businesses sued as a result of alleged personal injury, whether sustained in an accident or on premises owned by the insured.  Rich's practice also includes commercial transactions, commercial litigation and business litigation, including debt collection and subrogation.  Rich's municipal law practice includes serving as solicitor for the Sewickley Heights Zoning Hearing Board.  He has substantial experience counseling clients in workers' compensation, as well as labor law and employment law matters.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Rich worked as a Field Examiner for the National Labor Relations Board before attending Temple University School of Law.  His interest in labor and employment law issues began at that time, and labor and employment law have since become an active part of his practice.

Rich is a member of the Bar in all Pennsylvania courts.  He is a member and past president of the Pittsburgh Claims Association and is also a member of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS), The Insurance Club, and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). Rich is also a member of The Association of Municipal and School Solicitors Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
