Since being admitted to practice law in 1980, Mr. Campbell has practiced almost exclusively in the field of large business and real estate related litigation, including cases involving breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, failure to disclose, construction defects, trust and will contest. Mr. Campbell's successes include acting as lead trial counsel for a private foundation in obtaining a $27 million jury verdict for breach of fiduciary duty and fraud, and an obtaining a $4 million binding arbitration award for breach of contract on behalf of a small manufacturer against a large corporation. Mr. Campbell's successful appellate work includes Armsey v. Channel Associates, 184 Cal App. 3d 833 (Cal. App. 1986) an important foreclosure law case and Foundation for Horses v. Babbitt, etal, 154 F. 3d 1103 (9th Cir. 1998) an Environmental Protection Act case.
Mr. Campbell graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1980, where he was a member of Law Review. Since graduation, he has been associated with the San Bernardino law firm of Gresham, Varner, Savage, Nolan & Tilden and the Santa Barbara lender liability firm of Cappello & Foley. Mr. Campbell joined the law firm of Rogers & Sheffield, LLP as a Partner in 1989.
