John Cannizzaro is a trial attorney in the Port St. Lucie office of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene, and brings a passion for justice and protecting the rights of injured victims. His previous experience as an insurance defense attorney has given him firsthand knowledge of the insurance industry, which aids his ability to maximize our clients' recoveries in a variety of cases.

John has tried more than 50 cases by jury, most of which occurred during his time as assistant state attorney. He successfully prosecuted those charged with murder, violent crimes, and crimes against children, to name a few. He takes great pride in helping give victims the justice they deserve.

John not only enjoys practicing law, but teaching it as well. He is an adjunct professor at Indian River State College, where he leads classes for paralegals as well as for law enforcement students. He also takes pleasure in his involvement with Justice Teaching, where he goes to various grade schools throughout the county teaching students about ethics, civics, and our legal system.

John is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the St. Lucie County Bar Association, the Port St. Lucie Bar Association, the Martin County Bar Association, and Martin County Inns of Court.
