Michelle R. Calvert received her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. She continued her education at the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she earned her J.D., with honors, in 1992.
Ms. Calvert was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1992 and practiced law in Cumberland and Franklin Counties, Pennsylvania from 1992 until 1998, when she joined this law firm. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.
The professional associations in which Ms. Calvert is involved include the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lebanon County Bar Association, where she is a member of the public relations committee.
Ms. Calvert is a member of the loan committee of the Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation and serves as solicitor of the Annville Economic Development Authority. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cornwall Children’s Center and is a regular contributor of pro bono legal services to the Lebanon County community through Mid Penn Legal Services.
Ms. Calvert has considerable experience in the areas of business and corporate formation, sales, acquisitions and transactions, and performs routine and complex compliance and regulatory work for physicians, hospitals and medical practices. She is also regularly involved in all aspects of the law relating to Pennsylvania liquor licensing. Ms. Calvert also provides services in the areas of estate planning and administration, as well as real estate law, representing sellers and purchasers of residential and commercial real estate, developers and lenders. She is also a licensed title insurance agent.
Ms. Calvert lives in Lebanon with her husband and two children.
