Camel, Kevin Louis

C. Douglas Calvert is the Managing Attorney of Business Litigation at Bailey & Galyen. He represents businesses and consumers in a wide variety of matters, including the prosecution and defense of claims for fraud, breach of contract, and negligence, as well as DTPA and insurance matters.  Clients have entrusted Mr. Calvert with many complex business disputes across the State of Texas.

Mr. Calvert was raised in a career Army family, and lived extensively across the United States. He graduated high school in Illinois and then moved home to Texas when he began college at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Doug has been married for 28 years and is a proud father of two young adults, ages 21 and 24. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Mr. Calvert brings to Bailey & Galyen 29 years of litigation and litigation management experience. His trial experience includes significant commercial, products liability, insurance coverage, consumer law, employment, auto and trucking, construction, general negligence, professional liability cases. He has been an author and lecturer in statewide continuing legal education programs and served as a trial academy instructor.
