Ms. Calderwood is a partner in the firm of Raphael, Ramsden & Behers. Her practice is concentrated in family law, including divorce cases involving complex asset, debt and valuation issues; support and alimony cases; child custody and interstate custody matters. She applies her experience and dedication to resolving such matters in the best interests of her clients while providing guidance and practical advice to her clients. Attorney Calderwood applies her knowledge of complex valuation and asset identification to both her litigation of cases and to the cost effective settlement of matters that are ripe for resolution outside of a courtroom. She is also trained to resolve cases using the collaborative law approach; which can be extremely beneficial to her clients.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section where she serves on the Council and is the Chair of the Domestic Rules Committee. Ms. Calderwood is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and its Family Law Section.
In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, Ms. Calderwood was named as a Rising Star by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Attorney Calderwood was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Additionally, she was the President of the Pittsburgh Matrimonial Inn of Court for the 2007-2009 term. Attorney Calderwood participated in 2004-2005 as a member of the Bar Leadership Initiative through the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association. She has served as a speaker for continuing legal education presentations on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and Allegheny County Bar Association. In 2002, she was recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s "50 Finest," recognizing young community leaders, and through which she raised funds for Cystic Fibrosis Association. Ms. Calderwood has volunteered her time, in pro bono and community efforts, through the Pro Se Motions program and Pro Bono Custody Conciliation project in Allegheny County, and Neighborhood Legal Services, the Uptown Clinic, the KD You & the Law Program, and at various food banks. Ms. Calderwood was admitted to practice in 1998. She is a 1993 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and attended the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
