Cale, Virginia G.

Kristin Calder earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston University in 2006. Born and raised in Orange County, she returned home to complete her law degree at Whittier Law School where she received advanced training and certification in criminal law and trial and appellate practice. During law school Ms. Calder was also an active member of the Moot Court Honors Board and won awards for Whittier Law School at the Pace Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.

Before joining the Law Offices of Robert Moss as an associate in 2013, Ms. Calder worked as a criminal defense attorney where she found a deep sense of satisfaction in fighting for justice. As a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Calder has been able to obtain successful results for her clients both at the trial and appellate level. Ms. Calder has also clerked for the Orange County and Los Angeles County District Attorney's Offices and has held a law clerk position with the Honorable Michael Pastor in the downtown criminal courts building.

In addition to practicing criminal defense Ms. Calder also volunteered her time with the Domestic Violence Project assisting abused men and women in obtaining temporary restraining orders. Ms. Calder also occasionally volunteers her time helping our nation's returning war veterans with small criminal matters.

In pursuit of her passion to be an excellent trial lawyer, and in keeping with her desire for public service, Ms. Calder is currently participating in the trial advocacy project, a practicum program sponsored by the Los Angeles Bar Association for a select group of attorneys, and upon graduating she hopes to be chosen for service as a volunteer "TAP" attorney for a local prosecuting agency.

Ms. Calder brings this experience to the Law Offices of Robert Moss as well as her passion for family law and personal injury matters.

When not in the office you can most certainly find Ms. Calder at the Honda Center cheering on her favorite hockey team, the Anaheim Ducks. She also considers herself a 'professional' home cook and can be found pursuing her passion for the culinary arts in cooking classes throughout LA and Orange County.
