Michael Cable is a partner in the Sacramento office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Mr. Cable’s background as an attorney embraces a broad practice of representing clients in the areas of construction and labor law. His practice emphasizes all aspects of the construction industry, including licensing issues, negotiating contracts, review and resolution of construction claims, and construction-related litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Additionally, Mr. Cable has extensive experience in the areas of competitive bidding, bid protests, substitution of subcontractors, prevailing wage, apprenticeship requirements, mechanics’ liens, stop notices, payment bond claims, prompt payment remedies, and a variety of other business and real estate transactions.
Mr. Cable was admitted in 1998 and is a member of the State Bar of California, U.S. Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit, U.S. District Court, East District of California, Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Cable conducts regular seminars and workshops on numerous construction topics such as prevailing wage, competitive bidding and public contract procurement, and construction collection remedies.
