Cacace, Michael J.

TK Byrne was graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 1994 and began the practice of law that same year. He has had his own law office since 1994. In addition, TK received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Law Enforcement /Police Science from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas in 1980, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Management from University of Maryland, Agnano, Italy in 1988. TK enlisted and served in the United States Navy in 1979 and attended boot camp in Orlando, Florida. Later he was selected for Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. He was forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan and stationed on the USS KNOX and USS BLUE RIDGE. He later was transferred to Allied Forces Southern Europe Headquarters in Bagnoli, Italy as the United States Documents Officer. He went into the reserves in 1990 in Dallas, Texas moving to Jackson, Mississippi to attend law school. While in law school, he served was Commanding Officer of several reserve units and detachments. TK retired from the United States Navy Reserves as a Commander in 1999.

TK is married and with two grown sons. His wife of 30 years assists with the day to day operations of the TK Byrne Law Office. He is President of Clinton Civitan Club. The Club raises scholarship money and funds special projects in and around Clinton, Mississippi.

TK has been an attorney for almost twenty years. He started as a bankruptcy attorney representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 clients. He understands the pressures that individuals, couples and family's face with their limited resources and the stress brought on by creditors. He works to help his clients" hold onto what they own" as they proceed through their bankruptcy case.

He branched into all areas of Family Law-for example: Divorce, Custody Wills, Estates, Guardianships as a natural outgrowth of his bankruptcy practice. TK has represented and assisted his clients in both contested and uncontested Divorce and Family Law matters in the Chancery Courts throughout Mississippi.

TK added a criminal defense practice as the need arose. He handles all levels of criminal defense matters throughout Mississippi with a focus in Central and South Mississippi. He has over 15 years of criminal trial experience in Circuit Courts, County Courts, Justice Courts, Municipal Courts and Youth Courts throughout Mississippi. His working knowledge of the District Attorneys Offices and Circuit, County and Youth Court Judges has greatly assisted all of his clients in their making the best decision and outcome concerning the specific facts of their case.
