Meghan Burns is an associate in the firm's Labor, Employment and Benefits Department. She represents management in all aspects of federal and state court litigation and mediation of employment discrimination claims, wrongful discharge claims, wage and hour claims, and other employment related controversies. Meghan also represents employers in administrative proceedings before such agencies as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the U.S. and Connecticut Departments of Labor. Meghan also regularly counsels employers with respect to employee discipline and terminations, employment contracts, workplace discrimination issues, and all other aspects of the employment relationship.
Meghan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in anthropology. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she served as Note and Casenote Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review.
