Attorney Michael K. Burke is available to meet with clients in both our Goshen location in Orange County and our Suffern location in Rockland County.
Michael Burke received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. Mr. Burke was student articles editor of his law review and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research & Writing II: Appellate Advocacy. He also received the Jurisprudence Award for Trial Practice.
Michael Burke has been practicing law since 1997 and has extensive trial experience in civil personal injury matters as well as in the area of municipal civil rights defense including Section 1983, Title VII, New York Human Rights Law, and Criminal Law.
He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and all state trial and appellate courts in New York.
Mr. Burke is a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Bar Association, a member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, and CJA Federal Assigned Counsel SDNY Criminal Panel.
