Alanna Buchanan is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Buchanan served as a volunteer staff attorney at the Victim Rights Law Center in Boston, Massachusetts helping victims of rape and sexual assault obtain civil legal remedies. During law school, Ms. Buchanan spent a summer as a law and policy intern at the Poverty & Race Research Action Council in Washington DC. She also worked as a legal intern with the ACLU of Michigan and at the NAACP-LDF in New York. Ms. Buchanan also completed an internship with the Major Crimes Unit, a division of the US Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts.
Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Buchanan was a paralegal for a boutique IP litigation firm in Palo Alto, California.
