Thai Hoa Duc Bui, who goes by Chris, is a young attorney who offers a diverse perspective to his practice. He is in a bi-racial marriage and is a first generation Asian American who grew up in Houston, Texas to immigrant Vietnamese parents. Chris earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2005. He also obtained a Master of Public Health degree concentrating on Environmental and Occupational Health at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Chris received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2010 and was admitted to practice in Colorado that same year. During his time in law school, Chris honed his advocacy skills clerking for the National Conference of State Legislatures, The Rocky Mountain Climate Organization and Centura Health. Before joining Stowell, P.C., Chris received a University of Denver Sturm College of Law Clerk Fellowship in the 18th Judicial District at the Arapahoe County Justice Center. Chris worked under the guidance of the Honorable District Court Judge J. Mark Hannen and the Honorable District Court Judge Charles M. Pratt. Outside of work, Chris enjoys hiking, backpacking and traveling.
