From 1998 to 2000, Christine was in-house litigation counsel at GTE/Verizon, where her work focused on the defense of wireless telephone-related litigation, including cellular tower cases and consumer class actions.
Currently, her practice at Jones Day involves the defense of individual smoker litigation. Christine has substantial experience defending individual smoker litigation in Puerto Rico and has successfully defended all such litigation there thus far. In addition, she has successfully defended favorable district court opinions in the First Circuit Court of Appeals, including the cases of Cruz Vargas v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Prado Alvarez v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
Christine is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She also speaks and writes fluent Spanish.
