IN REMEMBRANCE
May 8, 1960 - August 25, 2008
John Nathanael "Nat" Bryan died on August 25, 2008. Nat was a partner at the law firm of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan, P.C. His partners and colleagues at the law firm miss him dearly.
Nat graduated from W.A. Berry High School in 1978, lettered in three sports and was a member of the Berry 1977 State Championship football team. Nat was a graduate of Auburn University and loved to follow Auburn's football program. Nat graduated cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1985, and practiced law for 23 years. In choosing a life dedicated to the law, he followed in the footsteps of his father, Jefferson County Circuit Judge John Newton Bryan, retired.
Nat was active in many legal organizations over the years, but particularly in the Birmingham Bar Association and its charitable arm, the Birmingham Bar Foundation. Nat was fiercely devoted to his clients and to being an advocate for people hurt on the job or on our state's highways. Nat helped to foster a collegial atmosphere at Marsh, Rickard & Bryan and generously shared his legal knowledge and passion for justice with his partners and colleagues.
The firm will continue to honor Nat through its unfailing commitment to its clients.
