Lance Bryan is an experienced litigator whose practice covers a variety of business-related disputes in state and federal courts, including defense of business tort and breach of contract actions, construction claims, and defense of electric utilities in significant property damage and personal injury claims. Lance has significant experience in representing lenders, Fortune 500 companies, real estate managers, and servicers in commercial real estate litigation, foreclosures, lender liability and receivership actions. Lance has also successfully represented small and large employers in disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims.
Lance received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University Of Texas School Of Law in 2003. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, with majors in Political Science and Economics from Oklahoma State University in 2000. While at the University of Texas he was a member of the Board of Advocates and represented the law school in the National Trial Competition. Lance also attended a semester at the University of London's Queen Mary School of Law in London, United Kingdom, studying comparative law and international litigation.
Lance was recognized as one of the state's outstanding young lawyers and selected for inclusion in 2010 Oklahoma Super Lawyers/Rising Stars.
Lance is a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association and has served on the TCBA's Professionalism and Civility Committee. Lance is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Counsel Oak/Johnson-Sontog Chapter of American Inns of Court.
Lance is a former certified volunteer mediator with the Oklahoma Alternative Dispute Resolution System and has experience representing clients in mediation and alternative dispute resolution forums.
Mr. Bryan has written articles and spoken at seminars on real property foreclosure, depositions and discovery, and numerous employment topics such as WARN Act requirements, overtime regulations, and defamation in the workplace.
