Steve Browning, the 2008 President of the Jacksonville Justice Association, primarily represents individuals who are seriously injured or suffer a loss as a result of dangerous or defective products, such as tire failures and other defects that cause automotive rollovers. His law practice also emphasizes cases involving automobile and truck accidents, mass torts, premises liability issues and nursing home abuse and neglect.
Mr. Browning is admitted to The Florida Bar and The United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 1991 he has over 12 cases that he has taken to the First District Court of Appeals.
After earning his undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Florida in Gainesville, Mr. Browning was one of the first graduates of that institution's rigorous and highly competitive dual track program, simultaneously earning both a law degree and an MBA degree. He was recruited by our firm following his practice in Orlando and Jacksonville in the areas of complex commercial litigation and serious personal injury.
Involved in several professional organizations, a list of Mr. Browning's memberships and offices include: Florida Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section; American Bar Association; The American Association for Justice; The Florida Justice Association; Jacksonville Bar Association; the Jacksonville Justice Association, and is a Master Emeritus of the Chester Bedell American Inns Of Court.
