Brown, R. Kent

Mr. Brown was born in Jackson, Michigan, June 11, 1956. He is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University and a 1981 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Brown maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association (Board of Directors), State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (past president), Chairperson Medico-Legal Problems, and Board of Directors Negligence Law Section of State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Brown was a former Co-Chairperson of Governmental Affairs Committee of Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Managers. Mr. Brown has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer in Personal Injury Defense:Medical Malpractice. Mr. Brown has been named a Defense Research Institute State Representative (2006-2008). Mr. Brown is a Certified Facilitator Mediator under the Michigan Court Rules.

Mr. Brown maintains a general civil practice including professional liability defense, general defense, dental, hospital and medical malpractice defense, corporate law and personal injury.
