Before he became a licensed Texas attorney, Clint Brown spent several years consulting with firms on a number of large, complex litigation cases in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.
Working as an expert consultant, Mr. Brown supervised a staff of associate consultants and managed various pretrial functions. In addition, he assisted attorneys in Dallas on a $5 million case involving misappropriation of trade secrets and consulted on several cases across the country with one of the world's largest insurance defense law firms.
Mr. Brown joined KoonsFuller in 2006 as an Associate and has completely dedicated his career to family law.
He attended Southern Methodist University and earned a bachelor of business administration, Magna Cum Laude, and a bachelor of arts in econometric studies, Summa Cum Laude, in 2000. As an undergraduate, he was a University Scholar, Dean's List Scholar, member of Mortar Board International, President of the Golden Key National Honor Society and student director of the Southern Methodist University Honors Program.
Mr. Brown attended SMU's Dedman School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2006. While in law school, he served as student director of the Jackson Walker Moot Court Competition and co-authored two articles for the SMU Law Review Association with Professor Joseph W. McKnight, titled Husband And Wife (2005-2006). Since he joined KoonsFuller, he has co-authored Hearsay Revisited for the South Carolina Bar Association and Technology In The Courtroom, both with Co-Managing Partner Rick Robertson.
Mr. Brown also co-authored Family Law Update: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You with Co-Managing Partner Ike Vanden Eykel.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas; Annette Stewart Inn of Court; Dallas Bar Association; Dallas Association of Young Lawyers; Collin County Bar Association; Collin County Young Lawyer's Association; and the Texas Young Lawyer's Association.
