Mitchell T. Brooks was born in Bountiful, Utah on June 4, 1975. He received a B.A. in Finance from the University of Utah in 2003 and received a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2007. While attending law school, he participated in John Marshall?s renowned Fair Housing Clinic, Predatory Lending Clinic, and Czech Republic International Law Program. Mr. Brooks has served as a legal intern for The Office of Governor John Huntsman Jr. working with the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice and was licensed by the State of Utah as Certified Appraiser and Sales Agent. Currently, Mr. Brooks volunteers for Safe Harbor Women?s Shelter providing pro bono representation for Protective Orders and serves as Executive Vice President for the Bountiful District of the Ute Conference and Vice President for Davenport Boxing Club SLC. He also volunteers as a little league football and wrestling coach. Mr. Brooks is fluent in Spanish. His areas of practice include family law, landlord tenant law, criminal law, real estate law, sports law, and civil litigation.
