Bromberg, Jonathan R.

Thomas C. Brittain, Jr. (Case) was born in Columbia, South Carolina on March 28, 1978. His parents are Tommy and Kathy Brittain of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He grew up in Myrtle beach and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 1996 and Wofford College in 2002.

Upon college graduation, Case moved to Columbia, South Carolina and worked for a year as a project assistant at Nelson, Mullins, Riley, & Scarborough, P.A. During that year, he confirmed what he already knew - that being a lawyer was in his future as well. Case attended The Charleston School of Law and was a member of the first graduating class in 2007. During law school, he helped establish and organize the first Honor Council for the school and is still an active alumni participant in all events.

After finishing law school, Case began a one year clerkship for the South Carolina Circuit Court as law clerk to The Honorable Paul Burch (the most senior trial judge) in Chesterfield County, where he obtained a wealth of information and firmly established his desire to be a trial court attorney.

Case returned to the Myrtle Beach area in early 2009 and began working for Hearn, Brittain, & Martin, P.A. In May of 2010, the Brittain Law Firm, P.A. was established and Case became a partner in the new firm with his family. Case practices on a regular basis in all branches of South Carolina State Court and United States District Court, in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, with a special emphasis on criminal defense. He served as a judge for the 2009-2010 S.C. High School Mock Trial Competition sponsored by the S.C. Bar Association. Case is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Horry County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice and the South Carolina Judicial Conference.
