Jill graduated from Salem College in 1990 (Magna Cum Laude) and received her law degree from the University of North Carolina in 1993. Jill is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association. She serves on the Real Property Section Council for the North Carolina Bar Association and currently chairs the social committee. Jill has also served as the Section's Membership Committee Chair. Jill is an Affiliate Member of the Burlington Alamance Association of Realtors and received its Affiliate of the Year award in 2000. Jill is actively involved with Alamance County Young Life and Alamance County Mothers of Multiples. She is a graduate of the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Alamance program. She is a current board member for the Crossroads: Sexual Assault, Response and Resource Center and past member of the Burlington Junior Women's Club. She is currently and executive board member of EM Holt Elementary School PTA.
