Danielle Britt is the associate attorney at our firm. She is originally from Buford, Georgia, where she graduated from Buford High School with honors in 2005. After high school, Danielle attended college at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 with a bachelor of arts in History. Upon completing her undergraduate program at UGA, Danielle attended Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. During law school, Danielle participated in Mercer Law's nationally acclaimed Legal Writing and Research Certification Program. During that time, she also developed a love for criminal defense law. She worked as staff for the National Criminal Defense College and also spent a year as the property division law clerk for the Office of the Public Defender, Macon Judicial Circuit, where she practiced law under Georgia's Third Year Practice Act. Danielle also spent a year working on criminal habeas appeals in Mercer Law's Habeas Project. Danielle graduated Cum Laude from Mercer Law School in 2012 and subsequently passed the Georgia Bar. Danielle moved to Rome, Georgia, and joined our firm in August 2012. She practices criminal defense, family law, personal injury, appellate law, and also does general trial and litigation practice.
