Robert "Bo" Briggs is a sixth generation Ocalan. Bo graduated from Belleview High School in its first graduating class. While there, he was a 3-year golf team captain and 2-time Television Production Student of the Year. He went on to graduate from Florida State University with a double major in finance and marketing. He was active in his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, was an officer and member of the club water ski team, and participated in various other community, civic, and philanthropic activities. He continued his education at Stetson University College of Law, which, during his time there, was named the number one law school for trial advocacy. Bo received a "Certificate of Concentration" in Advocacy for his intensive skills-based curriculum. He was a member of the Calvin A. Kuenzel Student Bar Association and was Secretary of the Stetson Chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Since law school he has served on the Florida Justice Association Young Lawyers Division Executive Board, was a founding organizer of the Marion County Justice Association, has volunteered for civil and legal programs, and is an associate in the D.R. Smith Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Bo remains politically active on behalf of the Florida Justice Association and has lobbied and testified in Tallahassee for the protection of victims’ rights. Bo joined his father, Randy, at The Briggs Law Firm in 2005.
Bo and his wife Nadia have been blessed with three beautiful children.
