Bringman, Joseph (Joe)E.

Vincent Briganti is an associate in the firm's White Plain's office. Since joining Lowey Dannenberg in 1997, Mr. Briganti has concentrated his practice on complex business litigation, and class actions involving securities fraud, commodity manipulation, antitrust and trade regulation, and consumer protection.

Throughout his career, Mr. Briganti has worked on a number of actions which have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for investors, businesses, and consumers, including: In re HealthSouth Corp. Securities Litig., Glickenhaus & Co. v. DaimlerChrysler AG, In re Seagate Technology, Inc. Shareholders Litig., In re Mercedes-Benz Antitrust Litig., In re Automotive Refinishing Products Litig., Broder v. MBNA, Snyder v. Nationwide Mutual Ins. Co., and Duke v ReliaStar Life Ins. Co.

Currently, Mr. Briganti is responsible for the day-to-day litigation efforts in In re: Natural Gas Commodity Litigation, a case in which partial settlements in excess of $72 million have been secured against some of the largest natural gas companies in the nation (the case continues to be prosecuted against remaining defendants), and Kohen v. Pacific Investment Management Corp., a case alleging manipulation of the multi-billion dollar market of U.S. 10-Year Treasury Note futures contracts traded on the NYMEX.

Mr. Briganti is admitted to both the New York and Connecticut State bars and is a member of the bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Briganti received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1996, where he graduated with honors and served as a senior editor of the New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law, and received a B.A. in Political Science from Iona College with honors in 1993.
