Lauren N. Brezenski (Brown) is a second generation Cuban-American. Lauren grew up in a family, where despite coming to the United States and having to start over, anything was possible. With a strong family matriarch, Lauren learned that nothing and no one should be able to deter a person from their goals and life plan. Lauren does not tolerate injustice, especially when such is based on ethnicity, background or an unforeseeable injury.
A family tradition for Lauren is the holiday squabble. No matter the topic, at every family holiday a back and forth always ensued. There was never a clear winner, but that was never the point. This tradition showed Lauren to always fight passionately and never give up. It proved that with brains, logic, and a good line of reasoning, a case could always be made. Thanks to this tradition Lauren knew at a young age that she needed to become an attorney to argue and fight for what was right.
Lauren attended Ferris State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Lauren then traveled to Arizona where she earned her J.D. from Phoenix School of Law. While in law school, Lauren was on the executive board of the Hispanic Law Students Association, and Phi Alpha Delta, she also participated in the Mediation Clinic. During her time as a law student, Lauren also interned at the City of Mesa's Prosecutors Office where she gained valuable courtroom experience.
Lauren is licensed in the State of Michigan and the State of Arizona.
Lauren resides in Metro Detroit with her husband. She can often be found in front of a television or at the stadium rooting for her hometown Detroit sports teams, win or lose.
