Robynn Brathwaite's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, and she also has extensive experience negotiating a variety of business agreements for clients while acting as outside corporate counsel. She also counsels clients regarding compliance matters and general corporate governance.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Robynn was a corporate associate with the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher. During her employment at Willkie, she negotiated data service provider agreements for one of the top five most trafficked news and finance Web sites. She also advised a leading publicly traded provider of managed health care services for the public sector in connection with several offerings, a leading U.S. cable company on its SEC filings and related compliance issues, and a leading publicly traded satellite/satellite system manufacturer in connection with its global restructuring.

In addition, Robynn has represented pro bono clients in a variety of matters, including providing general corporate advice to nonprofit organizations and representing clients in landlord-tenant disputes and Social Security disability hearings.
