Gerard P. Brady has been engaged in the representation of contractors, subcontractors, sureties, suppliers, construction managers and owners since 1986. Mr. Brady is experienced in the management and litigation of complex construction-related disputes, as well as a broad range of practice areas faced by both businesses and individuals in the construction industry, such as mechanic's liens, labor issues, debtor/creditor rights, surety law and arbitration. He has also served as an arbitrator and mediator in many construction-related disputes.
Mr. Brady is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York. He received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Manhattan College, and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. Mr. Brady received his Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law, and is admitted to the practice of law in both New York and New Jersey.
He is a member of the Construction Industry Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Moles and the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry and the New Jersey Bar Association's Construction and Public Contract Law Section. Prior to his graduation from law school, Mr. Brady worked as an estimator, field engineer, project manager and geotechnical design engineer.
