Mike joined Jurdem LLC in March of 2013. Mike has specialized in defending the rights of people in Colorado accused of committing a crime. Mr. Boyce brings extensive experience assisting hundreds of clients as a Deputy State Public Defender with all types of criminal charges. His felony experience includes defending individuals against charges of homicide, sexual assault, identity theft, fraud, possession and distribution of controlled substances, assault, and most other felony charges in Colorado. He has also represented numerous misdemeanor and traffic cases and has experience representing juveniles charged with crimes as well. Mr. Boyce brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, both in and out of the court room, that he uses to advocate for his clients. Whether the case results in trial or negotiating a resolution to minimize exposure, his overriding concern is helping his clients achieve their goals.
Mike Boyce received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School. While there, he cofounded the Criminal Law Society and served on the executive board. He also assisted indigent clients through clinical work. Prior to law school, Mr. Boyce graduated magna cum laude from High Point University, a small liberal arts college in North Carolina, with a degree in Political Science.
Mr. Boyce is a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado.
