Kate is an associate at the firm who is passionate about protecting the rights of consumers. Prior to joining the firm, Kate worked at large corporations and private firms where she worked on consumer law issues. She developed her knowledge of consumer protection laws by working at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and Legal Aid of Western Missouri.
Kate focuses on Illinois and federal litigation against creditors, debt collectors, retailers, and other businesses engaging in unlawful practices, including claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Illinois law.
Bar Admissions:
Kate sat for the Illinois Bar in the summer of 2012 and will be sworn in November 2012.
