Stephen Boutros has been practicing personal injury law in Houston, Texas since 1997. Stephen attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and graduated from Houston Robert E. Lee High School in 1990. He went on to Texas A&M University in College Station where he achieved Academic Honors and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994, and then South Texas College of Law, where he received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in May, 1997. Stephen was licensed as a member of the State Bar of Texas the following November.
He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. Stephen was elected in 2001 to the Texas Trial Lawyers Board of Advocates where he served for 3 years. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. For the past 5 years, Stephen has worked with the Houston Trial Lawyers Association as a mentor at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
Every year since 2004, Stephen was asked to teach other lawyers how to prepare and handle automobile and personal injury cases in Continuing Legal Education courses at South Texas College of Law. In 2004, Texas Monthly named Stephen as Rising Star in the field of Personal Injury law. In 2007, Stephen taught at the Personal Injury Continuing Legal Education Seminar at the University of Texas Law School in Austin.
