Marianne Boston is an experienced litigator who has managed, negotiated and litigated a wide variety of issues including, construction, contract, government and environmental regulations, product liability, insurance coverage, constitutional rights, employment, financial and land use. In addition, she has defended major food, drug and equipment manufacturers as well as a variety of automobile assemblers in product liability suits. She has also represented insurers on coverage issues arising out of a variety of policies, including errors and omissions, general commercial liability and employment practices.
Ms. Boston has experience in assisting clients with the navigation and, if necessary, litigation of a variety of federal regulations related to construction, land use and pesticides. These regulations include the Clean Water Act, Superfund, Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act of 1972, Occupational Safety & Health Administration, National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, Hazardous Materials Transportation Act and similar state laws.
Marianne has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts, including appellate practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and significant experience in alternative dispute resolution and negotiation.
Marianne has served as an Assistant Attorney General/Civil Rights Litigation for the State of Georgia. Marianne has also served as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Alva Hugh Maddox, Senior Justice of The Supreme Court of Alabama.
