Bosso, Michael D.

A founding member of Borras & Latino, P.A., Tony Borras has been practicing in Florida for twenty years.  Tony graduated from Florida State University (B.A.) 1970 and (M.F.A.) 1975, and received his legal education at New England College of Law (1988).  He returned to Florida after law school to work at the Public Defender’s office in Sebring, Florida.  He soon moved his family to Broward County and in 1992 opened the Law Offices of Anthony B. Borras, P.A.  His practice included bankruptcy, criminal defense, divorce and family law.  In 2007 he and Toni Latino formed the partnership of Borras & Latino, P.A.

Tony is licensed by the Supreme Court of Florida, the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.   He filed his first bankruptcy action in 1994. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (www.nacba.org).  He has served as Guardian Ad Litem and Special Public Defender for the courts. 
While visiting Lee County in 2008 the partners Tony Borras and Toni Latino discovered a vibrant and growing community.  Fort Myers offered an exciting opportunity to grow their practice, and in 2010 they opened an office in the historic district of Fort Myers, Florida.

Born of Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, Tony grew up in New York and is fluent in both English and Spanish.  His family moved to Miami in the early 1960’s where he attended Miami Senior High School and helped the Miami Stingaree football team to a winning season.   His love of sports has never left, and during his life he has coached little league and high school football and baseball. 

His bi-lingual background has helped thousands of clients.  During his twenty years of practice Tony has vigorously defended his clients’ rights, protected their assets, navigated the legal system, advised them soundly and explained it to them in plain English or Spanish.
